Join Families for Safe Streets in placing memorials at crash sites throughout Portland to honors victims and draws attention to Portland’s wide-spread road safety crisis.

World Day of Remembrance

Help plan this year’s World Day of Remembrance (WDOR) event, on November 16, 2025, along with other street safety organizations, elected officials, and local leaders. The World Day of Remembrance acknowledges the widespread suffering inflicted on the victims’ families and communities. The World Day of Remembrance offers an opportunity to demonstrate the enormous scale and impact of road violence and call for coordinated action to stop the carnage.
